Make Up Store Holos!

Hello everyone! I just wanted to show you some swatches of the Make Up Store Holos that I bought from my friend Kimba a while ago! Today was a beautiful sunny day making it perfect to swatch! There are four different holo colors! Britta which is a pink holo, Madeline which is more of a peachy/nudey holo, Siw which is a light blue holo, and of course the famous Greta which is a silver holo. Although some might say that you need to use a special aquafix base coat for these other wise it will apply very blotchy, I've tried it with my Orly Bonder Rubberized base coat and it applies just fine, but thats just me lol. Beware of being blinded, these polishes are SO holo!! Gorgeous! I would say that it is very similar to the China Glaze OMGs, but even better!!! You can purchase these polishes online for about $14 USD. Anyway, here are the beautiful pictures you have all been waiting for!

Pictures from thumb to pinky go as Britta, Madeline, Siw, Greta, and Britta again.

MUS Greta VS China Glaze OMG

Hello there everyone! Today I am going to do something that I haven't done on here before, a swatch comparison! And of course its gonna be a comparison of two awesome holos because today is such a beautiful day!
Make Up Store Greta: 8mL, comes in a long and pretty cylinder bottle. The holoness doesn't really show up in the bottle, and you need to use a special MUS aquafix base coat or else it will apply blotchy, although, I have tried this with Orly Bonder  Rubberized basecoat and in my opinion, works just fine. You can find this online at http://www.makeupstore.se/usen/products/nails/holographic/ and start from $14 USD.

China Glaze OMG: 15mL, comes in regular China Glaze bottles. The holoness shows up really well in the bottle, and any base coat for this polish will be fine. This polish is very hard to find, and the price range can be anywhere as $4 to $60.

Now, lets see what they look like!
(thumb to pinky goes as Greta, OMG, Greta, OMG, Greta)

(thumb Greta, index OMG)
As you can see, China glaze is more subtle and soft as MUS is more radiant. They both have the same rainbow effect, just one is more softer than the other. I love both of these! I think Greta would be more of a regular nail use where as china glaze would look better as a stamping polish! what do you think?

BOB ROSS

Hello everyone! Sorry I have not been posting on here. I just haven't had much inspiration lately! But its all okay because I have come up with my most favorite design yet! BOB ROSS nails! For those of you who don't know who Bob Ross is, he was a painter. An AMAZING painter that is! He used to have his own show called "The Joy Of Painting" with thirteen episodes. In those episode he would teach his viewers how to paint a beautiful painting within 30 minutes. He was an awesome teacher, and he proved that ANYONE can paint. He died in 1995 after a long battle with lymphoma.
The reason I chose to do a Bob Ross mani is because when I was a kid I used to watch his show all the time. He is pretty much the reason I love art so much! He taught me that everyone has a special artistic talent! I even remember being in kindergarden and painting a picture while pretending to be like him! LOL. Anyway, he is truly an inspiration and definately deserves nails dedicated to him!

 And here it is!!!
On my thumb here I have the face of  Bob Ross
On my index finger I've got a scene with a happy little tree of course!
On my middle finger I've got a tie dye background with the name Bob Ross and the years 1942-1995. celebrating his life ( sorry about the B, I was trying out a new top coat and it bled )
On my ring finger here I've got some mountains in a sunset sky with a few happy little clouds ( which my camera wouldnt pick up *sad face* )
And on ly pinky finger Ive got some happy little trees in the night sky :p

And there you have it! My Bob Ross mani! I hope you all enjoyed!

..THE VANCOUVER CANUCKS..

Hey there everyone! Today I am going to be showing you my new Canucks themed franken polishes! I had a lot of fun making them and I'm so proud of these because I am so new at frankening! Let me know what you think! Also, beware of glitter overload! Anyone that knows me should know that when it comes to nail polish, I am a glitter-a-holic! So most of these frankens consist of A LOT of glitter! Enjoy!

You like? I do! LOL the names of these polishes from left to right are called:
Believe In Blue, Oh Henrik ;)  Luon-GOAL!, I'm So Lappy, Trevor My Linden, Johnny Canuck, Praise the Keslord, Bobby Lou Blue, Dan The Man, and Meet me in the Burrows. LOL I had help with some AWESOME Canucks fans with naming them! Thank you Anum, Velheena, Risha, Vernisha, Kimba and Rebecca <3

Bobby Lou Blue, Trevor My Linden, Praise The Keslord
Bobby Lou Blue: This franken consists of large blue and green holographic hexy glitters along with smaller and more fine blue glitter. It is very sheer so it would look great layered over black or another color. This color is named Bobby Lou Blue because it represents Luongo, the Canucks goalie. Bobby Lou is one of his nicknames :)

Trevor My Linden: This Color consists of an orange jelly base with large orange holographic hexy glitters along with small golden and red hexy glitters, small black hexy glitters and fine orange/gold glitters. Another color that would great layered over back or other colors. This color is named Trevor my Linden because it represents Trevor linden. It represents the old Canucks colors of orange, red, yellow, and black.

Praise the Keslord: This polish also contains large green holographic hexy glitters along with very fine green glitter and a pinch of fine golden glitter too :) This polish is named Praise the Keslord because it represents Ryan Kesler! Keslord is another nick name for Kesler as well!

The three colors layered over black.

Oh Henrik ;) and Dan The Man
Because these two colors are so similar, I named these two after the two twins Henrik and Daniel Sedin :) They are different from each other though, Oh Henrik is more Blue where as Dan the man Is more of a green! SEE?
(can u guess who's who?)

Oh Henrik on the left and Dan the Man on the right.

As you can see, Oh Henrik is more of a Bluey base with a faint green glittery duoness, where as Dan the Man is more of a green base with a more blue glittery duoness!

I'm So Lappy, Meet Me In The Burrows, and Johnny Canuck!
I'm So Lappy: This color is made up of lots and lots of green, blue, and golden fine glitters. It has a little bit of small silver glitters in it as well. This polish is named I'm so Lappy because it represents my sisters favorite player, Maxim Lapierre. I call it Im So Lappy because it is very glittery and makes you feel all warm and happy when you see it, LOL.

Meet Me In The Burrows: This color is a Canucks blue and it has some small and fine holographic glitters. This polish represents Alex Burrows an awesome star player. :)

Johnny Canuck: This is a green polish with some fine blue glitters along with  some larger blue glitters. This color is called Johnny Canuck because green and blue are the main colors of the canucks. Johnny Canuck is one of our Canucks Logos :)

 Believe in Blue, and Luon-GOAL!

Believe in Blue: This Color is a deep blue shimmer. It represents the Blue of the canucks. It is very rich in color, and has a nice shimmer to it!  i love it :)

Luon-GOAL!: This is a very sheer light green with a bit of a maroon duotone. I mentioned this in my last blog and how its a great color to layer over black! :) In the picture above, i have Luon-GOAL by itself, and again layered over black. This color represents luongo because hes awesome and because when the canucks score a red siren goes off. Heres a link to my last post about this polish. http://www.naizysnailaddiction.blogspot.com/2011/12/luon-goalllll.html

And there you go! My canucks themed nail polish frankens! Let me know how you feel about the colors :) hope you all enjoy!

Luon-GOALLLLL!!!!

Why hello there my lovlies! How are you all doing tonight? I'm doing pretty awesome because I've just created my very first presentable franken! I love it! Its a very sheer light green with glitter and a bit of maroon duoness to it! I am starting my very own Canucks-themed nail polish frankens! Heres what it looks like!
Now, this is 1x Pure Ice Black Rage, and 1x franken on the left, and one coat of franken on the right

I love it! So my wonderful friend Anum and I have come up with the name "luon-GOAL!" for it! We chose this name because Luongo is an AWESOME goalie no matter what anyone says and deserves a nail polish named after him LOL! We also figured it would be appropriate because when the canucks score a goal, the red light flashes so the duo color can represent the flashing siren light :) How do you feel about this color and its name?
